Dislike the last sentence, of course, but loved this one: "The power of pleasure and the pleasures of power " Poetic, alliterative, true.

Thank you. I think there must be a sense in which we could agree on the last sentence if only in the realm of aesthetica. Iago is delightful because wholly evil. “If thine eye were single” — and his is nothing but single. “I would that ye were either hot or cold.” Every story needs a villain or villains.
